ONLINE + PHOTOGRAPHY RESOURCES

Cody Duncan, in addition to being an extremely talented landscape photographer, has painstakingly put together a series of ebooks that focus of traveling through and photographing the different areas and seasons in Lofoten. His guide was extremely helpful when I went to Lofoten in the winter.

All of the maps on the apart project website were built using Customaps. One top of allowing me to customize the maps to fit my vision here, their customer service is excellent.

International Photographer sells a lovely set of weatherproof photography maps focused on Iceland, Lofoten, and the Faroe Islands. I have all of them, and they were a really great resource on my trips.

reading

The following are books that have either inspired, or provided valuable context or reference to the islands that I have included in the apart project. Some of them were written long ago, and have allowed me to compare what I see in these places now with what the authors saw when they visited. Others are modern travelogues, and have given me many ideas for specific curiosities to seek out and document as I pass through.
