In May of 2023, I took a trip with my partner Coline to Denmark.  We had originally made other plans, but switched at the last minute, and decided to do a road trip in the northern part of the country in order to avoid the heavy rains that were enveloping most of Europe over that week.  In the middle of our trip, we took the ferry across to Læsø, and spent three days on the island exploring the culture and enjoying the quiet.  It was never my intention to seek out Læsø as an island for this project, but after visiting, there were a few quirks that seemed too good not to share.
